Zara Larsson zooms into 2023 with “Can’t Tame Her”
Electro-Pop
Zara Larsson is nearly ready to release her next album, but first she opens this new era with the gorgeous new single, “Can’t Tame Her”, full of Electro-Pop vibes and with a funky beat to it.
The album will mark her first since she founded her own record label, Sommer House, through Sony Records, which Zara has also aquired the rights to all her previous singles and albums for publishing on the label.
The 25 year old’s next album, her fourth, will follow on from 2021’s “Poster Girl”, which featured her collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the hugely successful track “Wow”. Since then, Zara has released a cover of ABBA’s “Lay All Your Love On Me“, the first from her own label as the Swedish singer began preparetions for the new album.
Zara scored her first chart hit back in 2014 with “Lush Life” and followed this with “Never Forget You” and “Ain’t My Fault”, all from her multi-Platinum second album “So Good“. “Can’t Tame Her” now leads the way to a fresh sound which finds Zara blending a retro 80’s sound with a cool 2020’s electro beat.
Zara co-wrote the track with long-standing collaborators MNEK and MTHR. Zara has recently revealed that she was worked with Rick Nowels, perhaps best known for his work on most of Belinda Carlisle‘s hits of the late 80’s and early 90’s!
