Diehumane is the newest avant-garde alt-metal act to set sail, that includes former members of Exodus, Type O Negative and Life of Agony. Their debut album has been introduced and its title unveiled—The Grotesque—whereas a spring 2023 launch is in eyesight.
The band options Rick Hunolt, formally of Exodus on guitar; Sal Abruscato, formally of Type O Negative and Life of Agony on drums; Garret West on lead vocals; Joshua Vargas on rhythm guitar, bass, piano, programming; and Greg Hilligiest Jr. on keyboards, samples, further guitar.
Speaking about how Diehumane got here collectively, Hunolt recalled in an announcement coinciding with the announcement that, “To be sincere, being in a band wasn’t even on my thoughts on the time a pricey good friend known as me and stated, ‘Hey, I do know these guys searching for a guitar participant.’ He despatched me some uncooked tracks, and I listened for a couple of month earlier than I replied, and it was the music that I used to be searching for.
