His first solo album since 2017’s Gemini, Macklemore will launch Ben on March 3, 2023. Forward of the drop, he shares the private single “FAITHFUL” with NLE Choppa.
“I wrote ‘Devoted’ after a 2020 relapse that introduced me again to a well-recognized darkness I naively thought I had escaped,” says Macklemore. “It’s a private track for me, reflecting on my struggles with habit. So long as I can keep in mind, I’ve needed to be clear, and but the illness I’ve is all the time current, it all the time follows me. The document explores the presence of habit in each side of my life, and the way pervasive and insidious it may be.”
