80’s teen singing star Tiffany has just released a brand new album, “Shadows”, her first for four years and from it comes her new single, “You’re My Everything”, a dark and moody Rock ballad that captures Tiffany’s maturity as well her her most private and personal thoughts and experiences.
It was back in 1987 that Tiffany found global fame in her jumper dancing to her cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now“, which she took to the top of the US and UK singles chart and it spawned a succession of hit singles and two albums to the end of the decade.
“You’re My Everything” has echoes of an earlier Tiffany single, “All This Time”, from her 1988 album “Hold An Old Friends Hand”. The song was the lead track from the album and became her fourth US top ten hit upon release. Tiffany says of “You’re My Everything”, “This song is about continuing to open your heart and seek true love even though you’ve been hurt before. ‘You’re My Everything’ is telling someone the truth of how you feel about them…but they may not commit or feel the same.“
